There is nowhere like The Imperial. The sheer quality and level of professionalism shown by the staff is unrivalled. If you stay regularly the staff will know your name and go that extra mile to make your stay extra special. On this occasion I stayed for mt birthday and was upgraded to a beautiful suite with a heartfelt card and some complimentary macarons. This will be the crowning glory in and trip to Cork. Central and luxurious.

This hotel is full of history and is very elegant. The staff were professional and courteous. As a guest it is worthwhile exploring the ground floor to see the Michael Collins exhibits and enjoy the Frederick Douglass lounge. My (standard double) room was compact but well laid out with two small areas for seating. The hotel is perfectly located for walking around the central area of Cork.

This is a top notch hotel with so much history attached to it. Imperial offers excellent facilities including an on-site bar, restaurant, and a pastry cafe. The bed was so comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. The staff were all friendly and helpful. And the location was within walking distance of all the best sites, shopping, and restaurants. We also booked services at the spa on the premises there, and it was the best! I would stay here again if I return to Cork!

Beautiful old-world hotel in a fantastic location in the city centre. The staff we encountered were great, especially Harun at breakfast. He deserves a special mention due to his kindness of manner and attention to detail, a very genuine person who brings a gentle touch to hospitality. Breakfast was very good and in a lovely setting. The newly refurbished bar is a comfortable and stylish spot. The Douglass lounge is a great addition to the hotel.
